Fizik Aliante R3 Open Saddle

The Fizik Aliante R3 Open saddle features a cut-out for 2018, which makes the saddle even more comfortable and takes away extra pressure from the soft tissue areas. The Aliante R3 Open provides the highest comfort compared to the Arione and Antares saddles. That’s why this saddle is extremely suitable for recreational cyclists.

The Fizik Aliante R3 Open saddle is made for Bull Riders according to Fizik. Bull stands for riders with low body flexibility and high pelvic rotation while pedaling. The power on the pedals can be exerted better if these riders sit up straighter. That’s why the seat bones also need more support. Bull riders are therefore advised to use the very compact Cyrano Bull handlebars as well as the somewhat wider-shaped Aliante saddle. The Fizik Aliante R3 Open is a lightweight and rigid saddle from the Aliante collection. This is because of the nylon-injected composite shell, the Wing Flex technology and the K:ium rails.

Saddle shape
This saddle has a rounded-off rear part, making it highly suitable for riders who move around while they ride and whose hips rock from side to side. The round shape provides more freedom of movement for those riders than a flat saddle could.

Flexibility
This is an S-shaped saddle, meaning it’s raised at the back and lowered in the middle. This S-shape makes it possible for people with an inflexible spine to assume a proper riding position. This has to do with how easy these riders find it to rotate their pelvis. People with an inflexible spine often have more trouble rotating their pelvis, meaning they could use some extra support.

Cut-out
This saddle has a cut-out and alleviates pressure for those who often experience discomfort or pressure to their soft tissue areas.

K:ium rail
The K:ium rail is made of an aluminium alloy und provides a good connection to your seat post.

Wing Flex technology
By making the seat surfaces of the saddle a bit flexible, the comfort of this type of saddle is increased. The Wing Flex technology provides more space for your legs, which allows you to exert power more easily and more efficiently.
