Close to a Perfect Fit

- Kostas 9 January 2026

High arches can cause a variety of foot issues often misattributed to other bike components, until you get a proper bike fit. While I’m impressed with these insoles, I believe they could be improved with more adjustability. Specifically, the addition of heel wedges would be a game-changer. Although my arch support feels better, I’m still experiencing a 'plush' or unstable sensation at the top and bottom of the pedal stroke, likely requiring some fore-aft tuning and heel stabilization.

Pros & Cons

Improves feeling
Upgrade from usual shoe insoles
No Adjustability
No extra heel support options

Small expense for much added comfort

- Sean 21 May 2025

Bought on the advice of my bikefitter, I was tempted to roll my feet inwards to apply extra force. I can recommend it to everyone because the sponge soles in cycling shoes are worth nothing. My bikefitter is already doing 12 years with his soles, so well worth the investment!

Pros & Cons

support over entire sole of foot

Perfect

- Pieter 24 March 2025

More like sufficient support. Sufficient space is left for the foot No pain in the feet after 160 km

Pros & Cons

Hollow feet are perfectly supported
More space on the foot than custom-made orthotics
Much cheaper than custom-made orthotics

Gain in comfort

- AB 19 July 2024

Replacement for my SQlab 214 insoles (probably no longer in production?). They are very similar in style. Much more comfortable than the standard NorthWave insoles.
