Does what it needs to do
Shoe shields do what they are supposed to do, protect your soles. I used them in combination with Time Atac plates, which works well. For this I did have to touch up the shoe shields with a dremel.

Good protection for your expensive shoes.
Well, what to tell about two metal plates...... It does what it is made for. It protects the soles of your expensive shoes from being eaten away by the pedals. I use these protective plates with Time pedals instead of Crankbrothers, so they can be used in many different ways. The protectors are also wear-resistant.
