Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • The CloseTheGap HideMyBell Raceday FI fits perfectly under an integrated handlebar with a 2-bolt attachment.
  • This bell is ideal for competition riders who want to train safely but do not want a bell on their bike during a race.
  • The handlebar mount is compatible with the most common cycling computers from Garmin, Wahoo, Sigma, Bryton and Lezyne.
  • The bell can be mounted and dismounted without using tools. Super easy!
  • A light mount or GoPro mount (optional) can be attached under the CloseTheGap HideMyBell Raceday FI.
  • As the bell is removable there is a chance of misplacing or losing it. So store it in a good place!

My previous holder had commitment anxiety - this one does not

- Nathan 3 June 2025

My previous mount? A brittle piece of plastic drama that, after a pleasant ride over cobblestones, decided "I quit" and catapulted itself towards the asphalt. Hero of the day. In a fit of naivety, I looked on AliExpress - there I found its identical twin brother, ready to also take its own life at the first threshold. Time for something better. Something stronger. Something that doesn't panic from a bump. Enter: this unit. I frowned at the price for a moment but the material and the reviews convinced me. Forged carbon? That's also what Iron Man's helmet is made of. Package arrived, box opened... and yes: this is quality. No wobble, no creak, just mounted tightly on the cockpit as if it was born there. In short: want a mount that won't break from a breath of wind or a Belgian bike path? Buy this thing. Your handlebars, bars and ego will thank you.

money-making

- Valentijn 2 June 2025

A way overpriced holder for your Garmin. For the price of 70 euros, you would at least expect a well-functioning bell. This one is far too soft. Moreover, you can only operate it on 1 fixed side. The holder itself works but that's all that can be said. For the price, you would expect it to fit nicely with an aero handlebar, be made of nice material, and be properly finished. It is a clunky piece of plastic unfortunately.

Pros & Cons

garmin is stuck
bad bell
far too expensive
ugly plastic
