Description
On the thighs, knees and on the back Castelli has added extra Nanoflex light fabric. These tights have a comfortable Progetto X2 pad and the mesh suspenders provide good moisture wicking of your upper body. At bottom of the leges a YKK Camlock zipper with reflection is fitted for better visibility in the dark.
The Castelli Nanoflex pro bib tights are the perfect tights for cold and wet conditions. The special treatment of the fabric ensures water remains on the fabric and then just drips right off. The tights are not 100% waterproof, but have a better balance between warmth, breathability and water resistance than ever seen before! In combination with the Castelli Gabba 2 jacket or convertible you have got the perfect outfit for wet winter weather. Do not forget the Castelli Diluvio gloves and overshoes to keep your hands and feet dry!
Technologies:
Nanoflex: This fabric is manufactured exclusively by Castelli. Its base is a Thermo Fleece fabric, which is treated with million nano-filaments which creates the most water-repellent fleece fabric ever made. Water drops slide off the fabric without a trace. The perfect attire for rainy days.
Progetto X2 seat pad: seat pad created for comfort and long rides. Its seamless, antibacterial fabric feels like a second skin. The seat pad consists of several densities and thicknesses, and provides support and comfort around your sit bones and perineum. The breathable fabric ensures excellent moisture transport.

My first Castelli product and I’m happy with them so far - just waiting to try them out in the wet!
These bib tights are extremely comfortable. I am large framed so made sure that I read as many reviews about them before purchasing. Castelli do come a lot smaller than normal so I heeded advice and went for the XL. They are snug but a comfortable snug. I could easily have gone for the XXL but didn’t want to compromise the leg length. As ever, Mantel we’re very efficient in dispatching them - I ordered them on Black Friday and they arrived on the following Monday - just in time for me to try them out during a cold snap!

If you previously bought the sorpassa and thought they are a bit yhin for cold weather you need these . An excellent pad waterproof ankles if you needed more protection . Plenty of thick support over the knees that is not inhibitive of your pedalling . No foot loops but you should be in boots or overshoes by now if you need these. A solid construction with maybe a little less give than most tights due to the thickness but for cold wet days these will be your go to leggings . Size 1 up for the tights they will fit you fine.
