The Castelli Fondo 2 is a very functional cycling jersey with long sleeves. This is in fact provided with Warmer fabric, which is thickly brushed on the inside. This way you will not only stay nice and warm on spring or autumn days, but also during intensive rides in winter. The 100% polyester composition also means that this cycling jacket has virtually no sweat retention. This has a positive effect on wearing comfort and reduces the risk of overheating. Protection against wind and water is missing, so it is better not to wear this cycling jacket in changeable weather.
Silicone gripper at the waist
Of course you want a cycling jacket to stay in place while cycling. For this reason, the Castelli Fondo 2 has been given an elastic silicone gripper in the waist. As a result, this long-sleeved cycling jersey stays in place better and does not creep up.
Full zip, 3 back pockets and reflective
A YKK Vislon zipper is placed on the front of this cycling jacket. This runs the full length of the shirt, making it very easy to put on and take off. Thanks to the 3 back pockets, there are also plenty of storage options for your bars or spare material. Even extra safety is not lacking, because large reflective strips are placed on both sleeves and the middle back pocket.

Nice (fitted) shirt for pre-season and post-season.
Cycled with it a few times. Fabric feels soft and nice on the skin. When there is no wind, it keeps you nice and warm. If there is wind, you notice it in terms of warmth. But this is pointed out in the product features. I am 1.95 and have a but XL. Fits well. Product bought in an offer. Whether it is worth the normal price I wonder. I think then there is too little price difference with the perfetto/RoS that offer anyway.

Nice and warm, breathable and nice fit
Great long-sleeved shirt which can be used when it gets chilly in autumn. Now good to use as a mid-layer with a windbreaker over it.

Nice but different fit to other Castelli garments
Strange decision by Castelli to change the size scale. All my Castelli jerseys and jackets are XL and fit perfectly (snug but not tight). I bought the XL of this jersey and it was huge, probably more like an XXL than the jerseys I already have. When you rely on a brand like Castelli you expect consistency in sizing, at least from one year to the next.
