Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • When set to 'Auto', the light switches on automatically when it gets dark when you are on the move.
  • The light strip extends to the side. This makes it easy to see traffic approaching from the side.
  • The lamp indicates when the battery needs to be replaced.
  • Standard 2 AAA batteries are included, which provide up to 100 hours of light.
  • The Axa Riff Steady Auto can be mounted on bike carriers with 50 and 80 mm mounting.
  • Due to the low lumens, it is suitable for being seen, but does not illuminate the cycle path.

Description

Description

The AXA Riff Steady Auto 50-80mm rear light features a new light guidance technique. Through a combination of the LED lamp with advanced light control, the Riff is illuminated over the entire width. The side of the rear light is also illuminated, making you highly visible to traffic approaching you from the side. You will be seen from 600 metres by traffic coming up behind. The rear light is operated by an on/auto/off button. This means that you can switch the light on and off yourself, but that the light on auto can also do this automatically. When it gets dark, the automatic light/dark sensor and motion sensor will automatically switch on the lamp.

Standard 2 AAA batteries are included which will provide up to 100 hours of light. The integrated battery indicator warns you when it is time to replace the batteries. The Riff can be mounted on the mounting bracket of a rear carrier with a 50 or 80 mm width mounting.
