Topeak comes with the new Backloader Wishbone, an anti-swing saddle mount that ensures your saddlebag stays stable and balanced. It is easy to install on your saddle rails and is suitable for saddlebags up to 18 cm wide. A bottle cage can even be mounted on both sides of the bar. So ideal for a long trip or when using a full-frame frame bag!

A brilliant product that adds real value to your trips.
Really handy – once fitted, you can remove the bars and leave the bracket hanging under your saddle. Tested during a 3-day, 200-mile gravel ride with 50 per cent unpaved terrain. The bracket stays firmly in place and prevents your saddle bag from swinging about, even when you’re standing up on the pedals.

A well-functioning pannier rail with bottle cage mounts
A really handy bit of kit! It consists of two parts: the rods and a clip that attaches to the saddle. You can leave the clip on, though that makes it a bit fiddly to fit a small saddle bag underneath. But it’s easiest to just take it off completely. It feels very reliable!

Nice product, but some fitting and measuring
Nice product and handy that it consists of 2 parts, making it easy to remove from your bike. I did have to deepen the screws (drill a bit) and file a bit so that my saddle still fits properly (see photo). The straps of my saddle bag no longer fit under my saddle either, but I clamp them around the wishbone now. Despite this, a good product.
