The cassette is mounted on Shimano's new MicroSpline body, which accommodates a 10 tooth as the smallest cog on the cassette. With this addition, the range of gear ratios has been expanded even further, so you can keep cycling even more smoothly.
This cassette only fits a Microspline body.

Great cassette on the city bike ( sport hybrid) through weather. The small sprockets and chain are subject to wear, though. On the commute, the more expensive XT is no added value.
