Best all round tyre.
Have Ron on my front wheel. Good grip on dry or wet, even wet roots. Rolling resistance is pretty low too. Racing XC, XC marathons and AM stuff.

really nobbly! no more slippy slidy!
My Rocket Rons were so easy to get on and i'm no expert. They have great grip, making my ride fun and giving me confidence.

Great Tyres
Always used Specialized tyres in the past but the latest ones don't seem such good quality. The Rocket Ron was a replacement for a Ground Control tyre and seems to grip better and feels a bit more sturdy. Overall a really good tyre. They also go up really easily tubeless and don't leak all the air out the sidewall like the new Specialized tyres! My new favourite tyre.

light weight SUMMER TYRE
light weight tyre set up tubeless on my genesis tarn 27.5+ hardtail saved just short of 2.7 lbs on both wheels bit of a pain to set tubeless as they are so easy to put on the rims (hardly need a lever) took time to get them to bead I was using a compresser (good luck with a track pump!) rims are wtb i45 3" once on are holding pressure well. useless in slippery Yorkshire mud but to be fair they are not designed for such conditions great in the dry! need a winter tyre.
