As usual, super easy assembly (, right and left thread note), pure turn, tighten and eventuel adjust the voltage for the shoes, coat had the best price compared to the other vendors.Only recommend the R8000.

Top pedals you can ride many miles and without play on the axles , have to be careful at first use with the new cleats the yellow blocks inside side can break when stretching, I put small bit of grease in front of it to avoid this !

I previously drove the cheaper Shimano and Look models and was always somewhat dissatisfied, the Look models have produced cracking noises while driving and the cheaper Shimanos ran very rough. The Ultegrapedal plays there in a completely different league, it is quiet and runs extremely easily.

Previous Ultegra pedals lasted 8 years. Only now in need of replacement. Well worth the investment! Compare it to a Mercedes vs. a ... One point: prefer the type designation on the side (like the old 6800 series).

Product arrived with little fluidity, I thought it would improve after a while but on the contrary the grease started to come out of the axle, result hard point, the bearings are certainly out of order in less than 3000km and mantel for only answer tells me that it is not guaranteed and that I only have to go to my bike shop... Excellent pedals. I have the dura ace but I took the ultegra r8000 because they are compatible with the favero assioma duo power sensor and not the dura ace!!! I don't see any difference in use!

This is a great quality pedal and the price offered by Mantel was between €30-€50 cheaper than some of the other online retailers I usually buy from. The SPD pedal provides a slightly larger footprint compared to other pedals and of course the extra 4mm space on the axel is great for anyone with a wider foot and hips.

The old Ultegra pedals were really running out of steam i.e. they started making peculiar protesting noises at the moment of applying power. The new ones do their job again noiselessly and without protest!

I wanted to try wider pedals than the ones I had and I'm not disappointed. On the right-hand side, my shoe was touching the crank despite numerous adjustments, and now the problem is solved, even with the normal axle.

I chose the version with extended axle because I am quite big and I had always had discomfort in my knees and therefore in long routes. With these pedals the problems are over.

Good online store and fast order processing service. Another thing is the shipping company that did not deliver the order, despite having paid for it, and did not leave any notification. I found out through the web store when I saw the order status. To my surprise I saw that I was supposed to pick up the order at the pack point. Have driven the last 20 years LOOK Keo. Actually, I was always satisfied. Annoyed only the cleats, which at some point began to squeak. Now drive the Shimano Ultegra pedals. My first impressions are -certainly subjective- very positive. The Einklicken goes more precisely, I'm faster "in it", the connection is secure and my yellow cleats allow a light and well-dosed mobility in the pedal. I now use the 4mm extended axle and have found that this is very comfortable to ride. How long the yellow plastic dots on the cleats will last remains to be seen. When walking, I find them very comfortable. However, they also wear out quickly. Basically, the change was for me but a good decision.

The pedals are excellent, fit easily, have good smoothness and mechanical functionality. Quiet and smooth in rotation. The packaging is very well made and contains yellow shimano cleats (middle ground). Kudos to Mantel for handling the order and perfect Shipping.

I'd only ever used Look pedals before switching to Shimano SPDs. The good news is that the changeover was seamless, no small pains or need to make minor adjustments. I just switched the cleats over and clipped in! I've done approx. 120km so far on a mixture if road & turbo, all is good. The main reason I changed to these pedals was to benefit from the slightly larger footprint of the pedal & the extra 4mm clearance. So far I'm very happy, however they are not cheap.

4 mm doesn't seem like much but is quite noticeable. I can now place my cleats a little more toward the center of the shoe without my shoe touching the crank.

The default setting is perfect for me, but it can be changed. The wedges are supplied and accounted for with the hooks I already had on my shoes (no need to change them). They're quiet and light. Perfect
