After just a few hundred kilometres, these pedals stand out for their remarkable stability and efficiency in both sprints and long distances. The clipping action is precise and secure, with a clean engagement that inspires confidence. Despite being sensitive to wear marks on the carbon, the mechanism remains impeccable. Adjusting the tension requires a little attention at first, but then you can find the ideal compromise between support and ease of unclipping.

Best value for money for a pair of pedals. This is the second pair I bought from MANTEL for my second new bike. I rode 50,000 km in 5 years with the first pair, which are still in use on my first bike and have never needed any maintenance. It's a great product that retains its qualities over time.

Very nice that a Mantel service mechanic nearby helped briefly when I couldn't manage to unscrew the old pedals. That will make me come back in the future.

After years of Time Expresso pedals, made the switch to these juggernauts. I like them, with the yellow plates even 1° more freedom of movement. Thanks to the 4 mm extra axle width, tapping the rear fork with the heel is a thing of the past.

Switched from Look to Shimano after years. More because I found the wear of Look bizarrely high and saw around me more riders cycling with Shimano. Currently, I have ridden almost 500 km with these Ultegra pedals and so far I am fully satisfied. In my opinion, clicking in and out is easier than with Look pedals and an incredible amount of confidence/grip when turning on. Also at high speed.

I first had Look pedals and then the Shimano PD-550 pedals. But I only had problems clicking into those. After installing the Ultegra SPD-SL pedals, I don't want any other pedals. These work perfectly, are super light and click in and out perfectly.

Bought as a replacement for my look pedals. These click out a little harder, but feel mega stiff and stable. Reliable as you would expect from shimano.

The product is simple to put on, although this cannot be done with a socket wrench because of but only with an Allen wrench. However, the finish on the pedal axle is therefore tight. The pedals feel super light and feature the standard tensioner for the SPD-SL click system. For me, the ease and quality of clicking in and out and the feeling of having almost nothing under your shoe makes this a perfect improvement for my bike and my riding enjoyment.
