Ergon SM Pro

After a lot of searching, and choice stress, I used the tool on this website. This saddle was 1 of the possible choices for me. I can recommend it to everyone, done with painful rides and trousers that wear out quickly.

Finally a saddle that suits me, I measured my hamstrings and followed the guide to choose the right size saddle, on receipt I measured its width and it's only 1.5 cm wider than my original saddle, I had my doubts about the choice ..... but once fitted and properly adjusted I can feel that it's my hamstrings that are in contact and nothing else. So no more rubbing and I feel much better with almost no pain after 2 outings of 3h00. My advice is to take the time to measure your hamstrings and follow the guide and everything should run smoothly.

Initially advised another saddle, but didn't like it, was just too narrow. Also didn't know they no longer carry these in shops, but only available online. Had already looked up some info on this, so far very satisfied

Both short and long distance a good saddle. It gives a good feeling with the mountain bike with an active cycling style.

To avoid always having to switch between my bike on the Kickr and the mountain bike I bought a second one, that may say enough ;)

I like the Ergon saddle it's not too slippery so you don't slide around unnecessarily. It is also nice that the saddle is available in several sizes as not everyone is the same. I also like the hardness of the saddle. I have now done several bike rides of several hours in a row and haven't had any problems. Previously I had a full carbon saddle which broke off at the carbon rail during a ride I have now opted for the Ergon with titanium rails as this is stronger in my opinion. The difference in weight between carbon and the Ergon with titanium rails is minimal in my opinion and I find it negligible. All in all, a fine saddle.

Bought this saddle because I often stayed in the same position during indoor training, as opposed to outdoor mountain biking, where you are more likely to straighten up or change position anyway. The wide back supports me better than the Selle Italia saddle that was on my Orbea. It took some getting used to, but no pain or 'numbness' for now.

Ordered this saddle to replace my standard saddle on my mountain bike. I chose this saddle through the seat bone measurement in the shop in Utrecht. Then looked through Ergon's website to see which saddle was suitable for my use and my needs. It is of very good quality and also sits very well. It offers support to the sit bones and is soft and free all round. So in my opinion, highly recommended.

Saddle sits super, three-hour ride on my MTB in the woods field roads and towpaths, sufficient grip where required yet comfortable soft shifting if needed and no problems at all. I did need three hands for mounting

For me, the fit of this saddle is optimal. Nice and solid materials used. Saddle is neither too smooth nor too slippery, just right. Reasonably pricey, but well worth its price.

Like many riders I have been searching for years for a great saddle. I have tried all major brands and have been relatively comfy but not enough that it has stopped me searching. I have always had a little discomfort. Since buying the Ergon sm pro I have been in total comfort. Used by the mtb marathon team it has totally supported my sit bones which you will need to know the width of as the saddle comes in 2 sized. In addition the memory foam padding is spot on. Not too soft that it feels squishy but just enough support.

I was after a MTB flat saddle for ages that wasn't a duel road/mtb design as they tend to have less padding. This bad boy is comfy, I'm now able to shift my body mass around with out having to readjust my postion everytime I seat down.
