The Pirelli Scorpion XC RH Lite is an ideal competition tyre for hard-packed mountain bike trails. With a very low tread, it minimises rolling resistance and, therefore, is one of the fastest MTB tyres on the market. Larger side knobs ensure reliable control in corners. Somewhat disappointed

Fine tyre in terms of speed but cannot ride on it for an hour without re-pumping. With soapsuds it is easy to see that the tyre leaks way too much air through the sidewall in random places. In my opinion, too much focus on weight saving and too high a tolerance in quality control. More atex needed I expect to still get them right. Scorpion XC M front does satisfy on all these points.
