Thanks to its light output of 500 lumens, the Hecto Drive 500XL torch is perfect for commuting and cycling on poorly lit cycle paths, but its unique 'daytime flash' mode makes it perfect for use as daytime running lights.
Lezyne has equipped the Hecto Drive with eight different light modes, including 3 continuous and 5 flashing modes. It has a maximum battery life of 4:00 hours in the lowest continuous "economy" mode. Charging is easy with the integrated, cable-free USB stick. The silicone strap can be firmly and securely attached to almost all handlebars.

Nice little lamp with a few drawbacks
Fine lamp. I mounted it under my Hide my bell. The multiple mode is handy. If the lamp burns continuously and becomes empty, it flashes 2x and goes to a weaker mode. Disadvantage is that if it is in the weakest mode and becomes empty, you don't notice it. Then the lamp turns off but there is still enough power to drive around 30 minutes on blink mode to get home. Since I have it under my Hide my bell, I can't see the battery light because it's on the bottom. And to charge it, I have to screw it off. I ordered a female usb cable so I don't have to take it off. (And Lezyne's GoPro mounting bracket is very affordable. Contrary to Hide my bell!)

Affordable, powerful front light
I like that I'm able to adjust the light intensity for different road illumination conditions. Battery life is not as good as the Lezyne Classic 700XL, but this more compact model delivers a very good bang for your buck.

fine just a pity that back can easily come off
Great light for on my walker. easy and handy also to charge. Unfortunately i lost the back and the charging point is now unprotected from rain etc
