Wahoo Trackr Radar Rear Bike Light

I’m really pleased with this addition to my road bike. It gives a good view of oncoming traffic. The tracker is quick and easy to charge. As for battery life, my initial impression is that it easily lasts a whole day’s cycling. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who puts safety first.

Pros & Cons

I ordered this because I’d seen good reviews of the Track Radar. However, I haven’t been able to get it to work. It works perfectly well as a rear light, but the radar function isn’t working and it doesn’t detect any cars at all. I also can’t control the Trackr from my Roam 3, as it establishes a Bluetooth connection rather than an ANT+ link. Contacting Wahoo’s customer service hasn’t helped either; according to them, it’s a fantastic product and the issues I’m experiencing aren’t consistent with the product.

Pros & Cons

Convinced me on the first few rides. Pairing with Hammerhead Karoo 2 went quickly and without problems. Signalled early and there were no false alarms on 3-hour road bike rides. And it looks good on the bike too.

The Wahoo Trackr Radar impressed me right from the start. Setting it up was straightforward and the connection with my bike computer worked without any problems. The reliable detection of vehicles approaching from behind is particularly helpful. This makes me feel much safer on my tours. The bright rear light also ensures good visibility and the battery life is more than sufficient for longer journeys. The device works reliably and unobtrusively in the background so that you can concentrate fully on riding. All in all, a well-designed, high-quality product that I can recommend to any road or gravel cyclist. A real asset for safety on the road.

I ordered the rear light before my holiday in Mallorca. It worked really well, it simply makes riding more relaxed.
