Description
The Giro Tyrant MIPS mountain bike helmet is the right helmet for those seeking adventure in the forest. The helmet's extra protection makes you that bit more daring than usual. The helmet features the MIPS Spherical safety system. This is an even more detailed version of the current MIPS system. The helmet has an extra rim that is separate from the outer rim of the helmet. As a result, these edges slide over each other in the event of a fall and the impact on the head is less pronounced. This considerably reduces the risk of concussion. The advantage of the MIPS Spherical compared to the normal MIPS is that no extra plastic layer is needed, which benefits the ventilation. With this helmet, the system is fully integrated in the different layers of the helmet.
To offer you even more safety than a regular trail or enduro helmet, extra protection is placed at the ears. This not only protects your ears, but also a much larger part of the face. An extra set of padding is included so you can always make the helmet fit your size. And do you like to ride with goggles? No problem, with the Giro Tyrant MIPS, the back already has a wide pre-formed band where the strap of your goggles fits nicely and stays firmly in place.

Premium Cranium Protection
