The Giro Source MIPS has a deep coverage and an In-Mold construction, whereby the polycarbonate helmet shell is attached to the EPS liner. This construction increases protection and reduces weight. This MTB helmet also has MIPS fall protection, a structure which absorbs lateral and rotational forces of a fall better, reducing the chance of a concussion significantly.
Roc Loc 5 adjustment system
Of course, you want to be able to adjust a cycling helmet so that it sits securely on your head. To this end the Giro Source MIPS has the Roc Loc 5 adjustment system. A simple turn of the dial makes small changes in the fit, making the helmet feel very comfortable and secure on your head. The front visor can also be adjusted to suit the circumstances.
17 vents with deep internal channelling
To prevent the head from overheating, the Giro Source MIPS has 17 ventilation openings with deep internal channelling, allowing a cooling airflow to enter and exit the helmet. The Coolfit padding ensures effective processing of sweat, keeping the head as dry as possible.

Just absolutely great!
After many fits and measures of different brands in different shops, I ended up with the Giro Source MIPS. Whereas with all helmets I felt pressure points or chafing edges, this is certainly not the case with the Source. The finish is of a high standard and the helmet also falls a bit deeper, giving you a very safe and secure feeling when wearing it. I have a rather narrow head but and that is not a problem at all with this helmet, the adjustment mechanism perfectly customises itself to the shape of my head. Circumference of my head is 59 cm, bought size L.
