The Axa Cherto Compact is a strong and high quality chain lock specially made for securing more expensive bicycles or long term parking. The lock has a two-star rating from the ART foundation, which means the lock meets the requirements for possible bicycle insurance in the Netherlands.
Big in security
The chain links of hardened steel have a diameter of 9 mm and can withstand a cutting force of up to 73 kN. The lock is also equipped with an anti-drill plate in the cylinder and a cover. This prevents moisture or dirt from entering the cylinder of the lock and improves its durability. The Cherto Compact comes with two symmetrical keys that can be replaced in the event of loss, thanks to the AXA online key service.
The links are covered by a strong black polyester cover. This not only makes it harder to cut, it also protects your bike from damage.
