Descripción
The Fulcrum Racing Zero DB road bike wheels combine low weight, smooth-running ceramic bearings, carbon hubs and super light aluminium rims. The result; one of the best aluminium wheel sets for disc brakes on the market. The weight of a racing bike with disc brakes is generally somewhat higher. Then it is nice to be able to mount a light wheel set so that you can ride more easily in hilly areas. With only 1590 grams, the weight is no longer an excuse! The rim has the Fulcrum 2-Way Fit system. It is therefore possible to use the wheel set with or without an inner tube, tubeless. The rim with 19 mm internal rim width makes it possible to mount tires from 23 to 50 mm. This makes the Fulcrum Racing Zero DB widely applicable; from your racing bike to your gravel bike!
2-Way Fit
The Fulcrum Racing Zero DB wheels feature the 2-Way Fit technology from Fulcrum. This means that the rims are designed to offer a perfect connection to both clincher and tubeless tires. Moreover, thanks to the Mo-Mag technology, no rim tape is needed to make the rims tubeless. After all, the wheels do not have open spoke holes, but a completely closed rim bed. The Fulcrum Racing Zero DB wheels are therefore ready for use with and without an inner tube.
USB - Ceramic Ultra Smooth Bearings
Fulcrum has a reputation when it comes to reliable, high-quality hubs with low rolling resistance. In fact, all developments are carried out entirely within their own company and with the utmost precision. Hub resistance with USB (Ultra Smooth Bearings) ceramic bearings is up to 50% lower than regular bearings. Furthermore, ceramic bearings last many times longer than steel bearings.
2: 1 TWO-TO-ONE Spoke Ratio
Fulcrum has shown that the forces on the spokes on the drive side and the non-drive side are quite different. But the forces on the front and rear wheel also differ enormously. For example, the front wheel should be able to offer a lot of stiffness during braking on the left, while the rear wheel should do so on the drive side of the wheel. By applying twice as many spokes on the brake side (front wheel) and drive side (rear wheel) than on the other side, Fulcrum wheels with the "2: 1" system are strong, perfectly balanced and yet designed to be as light as possible.
Anti-Rotation System
The Anti-Rotation system from Fulcrum brings the spoke tension of wheels to a higher level. The Fulcrum engineers have adjusted the spokes and hub to create an even stiffer structure. The result is that the spokes never lose their tension, so that the wheel always remains fully centered. In addition, the spokes always remain in the most aerodynamic position, as they are placed during production.
