| You will need another end cap (driver) to make these wheels Shimano 10/11-speed or Micro Spline compatible. |
| 6-hole brake disc connection is less common but a lighter system than centrelock. |
| Not suitable for e-mtb. |
| The Crossmax wheels are relatively heavy for an XC wheelset (1937 grams, 29"). With a higher-end MTB wheelset, you can gain quite a bit of weight so you can bring them up to speed more easily. |
| The Mavic Crossmax is not available with Shimano MicroSpline fitting. However, an optional Mavic ID360 Shimano MicroSpline body is available. |
