Innovation comes most of the times out of places you would not expect it. To create a lighter cranksets, Sram made a bigger crankset. The new Sram Red Exogram crankset is completely hollow all the way up to the spider. The 'hidden pin' pattern makes better use of the carbon fibers to increase the stiffness and weight of the crank.

The beautiful X-Glide R chainrings are optimised for use with the Yaw Technology that is placed in the front derailleurs, to optimize seamless and faultless performance. Sram's stiffest crank ever! The stiffest X Glide R chainrings are fitted with a thicker construction, advanced shift timing pins and thickening of the chainring, that is optimised for the shifting of the Yaw front derailleur. Fitted with a beautiful two-tone finish.

This BB30 variant is 10% stiffer and 5% lighter compared with the GXP version.
