A latex inner tube should not be inflated hard outside of the tyre because of the risk of bulges and deformation. Rather, always inflate it carefully and lightly, up until the point where it is just getting round. Great alternative to the more expensive thermoplastic tyres. I did have one of the 4 tyres that was punctured at the valve onset when fitted, or maybe before.

Very nice tyres. Much easier to fit than butyl tyres. Been riding with these for two years and never had a puncture. However, the valve head does break off after a while. This has happened 4 times already. Then the tyre can no longer be inflated and has to be replaced. Point of attention for Challenge.
