Challenge Flandrien Pro TLR Cyclocross Tyre

The Challenge Flandrien Pro is an excellent tyre for varying conditions. It perfectly fills the gap between an all-rounder and a mud tyre, allowing you to maintain grip on dry surfaces as well as in greasy mud. With its supple casing and tubeless-ready design, this handmade tyre gives you the authentic ride feel of a tubular model but with the modern flexibility of a tubeless wire tyre.

Handmade construction and compound
The Flandrien Pro has a handmade 320 TPI cotton carcass combined with Challenge's special SMARTsoft rubber compound. This natural rubber is specifically tuned for race conditions in autumn and winter, allowing the tyre to mould itself to the surface for maximum traction when braking and cornering.

Tread design and compatibility
The tread features widely spaced studs that remain grippy and quickly shed mud to keep rolling resistance low. Beneath this tread is a PPS anti-puncture layer for extra protection during a race. The tyre is fully compatible with modern hookless rims and, with an inner rim width up to 23 mm, complies with UCI tyre width regulations.
