Campagnolo has devised a spoke pattern that, compared to a traditional spoked wheel, makes it possible to improve power transfer and reduce the load on the spokes on the right side. This is achieved in the G3 spoke geometry with double the number of spokes on the right side of the wheel than on the left side for more lateral stiffness.
