Dark Energy Chain Wax

This drip-on wax is the result of four years of development in the Muc-Off R&D Lab, involving more than 90 tested formulas and over 8,500 hours of lab and machine testing. The wax ensures maximum chain efficiency and durability, and minimises wear.

Microfibre cloth with split-fibre technology

For the high-quality microfibre cloth, Muc-Off uses split-fibre technology, which greatly enhances absorbency. The fibre structure traps dirt deep within the cloth, preventing it from rubbing against the paintwork while cleaning or drying.

Chain Wax Cleaner

Removes both factory grease from new chains and the deepest wax residues from chains already in use. This way, you can start a new waxing session with a spotlessly clean chain.

• Dark Energy Wax, 120 ml
• Chain Wax Cleaner, 500 ml
• Chain brush
• Microfibre cloth

First, clean the chain thoroughly with the Chain Wax Cleaner to remove factory grease or old wax residue. Use the chain brush to clean three sides of the chain at once, reaching deep between the links and rollers. Allow the chain to dry thoroughly, then apply Dark Energy Chain Wax using either the dip or drip method. Polish and dry with the microfibre cloth provided.

• For best results, allow the chain to dry completely after cleaning, before applying the wax.
• Use the chain brush regularly, also between full waxing sessions, to prevent dirt build-up.
• Store the microfibre cloth separately from other cleaning cloths to prevent cross-contamination with grease or oil.
• Follow the dip or drip method consistently, depending on which approach you choose for applying the wax.
