This is achieved by the Shimano Ultegra RX805 Di2 rear derailleur through a tighter spring tension on the cage, which is ideal for cyclocross and gravel races. This technology comes from mountain biking and is also known as Shadow +. The Shimano Ultegra RX805 derailleur reduces the risk of chain drop, wrong shifting and also reduces noise.
