The Giro Synthe is the pinnacle in Giro's helmet design. This modern helmet offers impressive cooling performances, minimal weight, perfect fit and a sleek aerodynamic efficiency. You can see a big difference during extensive wind tunnel tests. These tests clearly showed the Synthe is as aerodynamic as most time-trial helmets. The best features of this helmet are comfort and cooling. In the heart of the helmet you will find the Roc Loc Air Fit System.
With this system the helmet is suspended above your head, to create an optimal air flow. It is possible to adjust the tension and the front or rear overturning. You no longer have to choose between aerodynamics and cooling, with the Synthe you have it all!

Technologies:
Roc Loc Air Fit system:
The Giro Roc Loc Air system is specially developed for the Giro Airo helmets. This new system ensures the helmet floats a little above your head. As a result there is a good airflow over the top of your head which ensures a good ventilation. Just like the Roc Loc®5 system the helmet can easily be fine-tuned. The tension around the head and the vertical position can be adjusted with one hand. Giro set the new standard for ventilation and comfort with this helmet.

Wind Tunnel Ventilation:
Giro helmets are developed using the Giro Wind Tunnel ventilation system. This system combines the active vents with the internal ventilation outlets. This combination ensures a cool, fresh air flow over and around the rider's head, while forcing out the heat and stale. The renewing of these ''air channels'' turned out to be a huge success. The riders were enthusiastic, they noticed the new ''air flow'' around their head, resulting in a better cooling!

In-Mold Construction:
The In-Mold Construction combines a strong polycarbonate outer shell with
shock absorbing helmet padding. Thanks to its fusion process it is possible to sculpt a better ventilation system, so the In-Mold helmets are lighter and cooler than most traditional helmets.

X-static Padding:
Besides the fact they are comfortable The X-static pads ensure anti-microbial properties to keep your helmet clean longer. The pads are machine washable.
