Combined with 30 section tyres inflated to +/- 4 bar, the wheels are very comfortable and very precise when going downhill.

Fast wheels, too bad the logos are stickers you can damage. What a convenience to put tubeless tires, without compressor or pressure vessel, but with the regular pump

This is my first pair of tubeless wheels, and my first pair of Zipps. A very responsive pair, but still very comfortable with 28mm tires. I'm used to riding 23 or 25s, but I feel like I'm getting a lot more out of these 28s! You have to pay the price, but this wheelset is worth the detour!

The Zipp 303 Firecrests were fitted to the Gravel in my possession, they have transformed the bike which is now very responsive compared to before, these wheels are fantastic on the road, gravel and even uphill, despite fitting a 40 tire I am able to maintain level performance that I was struggling to have before.

Delivery from Mantel as known to be improbably fast. Placed order Friday night at 8pm, Saturday 11am delivery. Wheels are top notch. Couple of rides behind them, and in combination with the GP 5000 STR lovely bulging set. Especially the creamy soft comfort stands out tremendously from the first meters thanks to the 25mm.internal width.

Compared to the 303s, the firecrest has a nice extra cost, you get a wheelset that is lighter and has a golf ball profile in addition to the better hub with more engagement points. The rim is also slightly wider and lower. 10/10 vr looks. Vr a longer usage test i haven't had them long enough yet, mr the 303s i have are super so high hopes for the firecrest.
