This one contains a centring pin, unlike the BBB version. This pin is important for jammed bottom bracket bearings / if you have to apply a lot of force. You can of course secure the BBB version with a bolt provided you can find one with the same thread as a crank bolt (for non-hollow axles). There are also special adapters for this on the market (Pedros). A bolt or adapter again cannot be used in this Trivio tool, as the pin is in the way.
