Not recommended when you haven't used the bike for a long time.
I ordered two to loosen my bearings but both broke.... Teeth broke off and then the whole ring. Then anyway, I borrowed a steel cap from someone to loosen the bearings and it was easy.

Pity this doesn't come with BB, quite expensive for bit of plastic
Used this adapter to upgrade my mtb from a worn-out 8bb51 (44mm) to an mt800 (41mm). Initially I was told that the adapter would be delivered with the mt800, but this was not the case, which was another 5 euro disappointment.... The adapter fits into the BTL-27L spanner after much wriggling. When tightening it, you also have to push the adapter firmly onto the bearing, otherwise the inner teeth will soon be gone. It only just fits. The advantage of the plastic, however, is that (if everything is clean) the bearing is fitted scratch-free. It does what it's supposed to do, but that's all there is to it.

Handy tool but not for frequent use
Bought this tool for mounting a Shimano Ultegra sm-bbr60. The diameter on the standard tool is 44mm and the one on the BBR60 is 41mm. Tool works but after about 5 uses the plastic starts to deform. Handy little tool but not durable.
