Reviews over the
Schwalbe Racing Ray Addix Speed Super Race TLE
5 / 5
Top band for NL
Only drove a few 100km so far but very satisfied. Tip: don't put it on too high pressure, then grip is suddenly much harder to find. Much more noticeable than with 4 other MTB front tyres I tried of different brands.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Great tire for Dutch laps
The Racing Ray is a light, fast-rolling tire. A bit unstable in loose sand at times. The width is not quite right. Should be 60mm but is only 56mm on a rim with 30mm internal width.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
The tire for worse conditions in the Netherlands
This is a super tire for worse conditions as it gives enough grip and more confidence in turns and you do not sacrifice speed. Tubeless mounting for the first time was done within 5 minutes. Highly recommended. Against expectations, the skinwall looks pretty cool.

Superband
Tire runs nicely even with little pressure in it

Top band
Very nice tyre been riding it for some time on another wheelset pity you didn't have the Racing Ralph I had to order elsewhere

Front tyre
Bought this tyre front and rear. Now this appears to be a front tyre. It's a shame Mantel didn't make this clearer. I would have put a racing Ralph or something on the rear. I hadn't educated myself enough to realise that there are special front and rear tyres.

nice solid band
be careful not to wait until you hear a plop when tubelessing because then your carbon rim could give way if you put too much pressure on it

Does what it needs to do
Good front tyre, runs well and has plenty of grip

Very satisfied with both functionality and looks
Very satisfied. Lots of grip! First had the Ralph front but after some research now a new combination with the Ray front and Ralph rear. The skinwall looks great too
