A top-of-the-range, durable and healthy can, with no plastic taste
I've been using the Elite Syssa Race for a few days now on my mountain bike rides, and it's clearly an excellent bottle. I tested it on several outings during my mountain holidays, in very hot weather, and the water stayed pleasantly cool. I also liked the fact that there was no smell coming from the bottle, even after several washes.

Great bottle but not for during exercise
Over to aluminium because I was fed up with the plastic taste. Nice water bottles, look fine. There is a plastic protective cap on the water bottle that you can easily remove if you want. The drinking bottle has a red drinking spout that you pull out. Then the bottle is open and you can drink from it by sucking. After all, squeezing is not possible. And therein lies a problem. Half the time, no drink or too little drink comes through the spout. And you have to suck, or in other words, your breathing is disrupted. With a plastic bottle, you open your mouth, put your uvula shut and squeeze and boom, 100% guaranteed booze. With this bottle, you have to suck hard whereby you may accidentally squeeze the spout again and get no or too little drink. And so you are suddenly fiddling with getting enough drink while exercising at your max. Fine bottle but not for during exercise. Fine for the gym or work but me?...unfortunately back to the plastic flavour. Then I still choose functionality instead of looks or taste.

Beautiful water bottle
With the extra lid, it's a bit trickier to drink, but enough drinks come out at a time. Very nice water bottle

Beautiful yet not
They are nice bottles, but they are immediately full of scratches from being placed in the water bottle holder.

Solid durable and
I bought the Elite Syssa Race from Mantel and am very satisfied. The bottle cage is sturdy and holds the bottle well in place, even during bumpy rides. The design is sleek and fits my bike nicely. A slight disadvantage is that it is slightly heavier than some other holders, but the stability and quality more than make up for this. Definitely highly recommended!

Pleased
Fine lightweight water bottle. cap can open and close x number of times and then will break on the thin plastic hinge.

Very good alternative to plastic and drinks much easier.
Plastic water bottles do get a bit harder to keep clean over time and the dishwasher often leaves a detergent taste. Not so with this stainless steel version. Drinking is also much easier because the water bottle does not vacuum, so you can easily keep drinking without having to squeeze. Finish feels good and seems to be of good quality. Exterior is matt and rigid so water bottle stays well in the holder.

Great drinking bottle, am satisfied with the product.

Reasonable bottle, improvements possible
The bottle does not leak. However, when driving it is a bit harder to drink from, the spout slides shut again with the slightest push, which can be irritating. The bottle is quite heavy when completely full, I would have liked it to be a bit smaller. Otherwise a fine water bottle.
