Best winter jacket i have
Have this jacket for a few weeks now, went out in 10 degrees C the first day and almost melted, have since been out in 4 degrees, far more suitable for this jacket. I'm a medium in a t-shirt went for the large which was perfect. Only one gripe, with big gloves I tend to stuff things into the pockets, have already burst a a stuck in one of the pockets

Surprisingly effective
Super breathability! When mountain biking, you sweat, but with this jacket, you dry quickly and feel comfortable again. I've been using it with just one undergarment from 0 to 8 degrees, but it can go below that. Excellent windproofing and well-finished sleeves.

Fantastic Jack
Now already cycled a few hundred km with this jacket, together with Castelli's undershirt. And haven't regretted these purchases for a second. Not cheap, but well worth the money. Undershirt and Jack on and go, ideal. Nice and warm and waterproof. Had enough rain on me already and stayed bone dry. I should have bought this jacket much earlier. Great!

More than value for money!
I bought the jacket in a very cold period! It was perfect then, but now also punish it with just a short (thermal) shirt underneath

Fine jacket for winter
Been thinking for a long time whether I wanted to spend so much money on a cycling jacket but this jacket is well worth the money. I'm quite a chivery but even in temperatures around freezing I don't suffer from the cold. And the fit is ideal for me.

Top jacket with the look to boot
I'd bought the raddoppia 2 but being a bit chilly when the temperature is around 5 degrees, I felt a bit windy with the raddoppia2. So I decided to buy the alpha ros2. When I received it and saw how thin the fabric was, I was a bit sceptical about the possibility of riding in 0 degrees and negative temperatures. But I have to admit that I've now done several outings in temperatures between -1 and 3 degrees and the jacket is really great! I only wear it with thermal underwear every time and it's perfect, I don't feel the wind or the cold. The jacket also retains a sufficient degree of breathability so that you don't get too hot after riding for a while. What's more, the jacket has a really nice look. Finally, the details are well thought out, particularly the cuffs for putting on the gloves. I took the Medium size because I'm 1m70 for 61kg and it's perfect.

Good breathable warm jacket
Yesterday I did a long (moderately intensive) tour of 8 hours in dry weather, temperature around freezing point and cold easterly wind. With 2 base layers, I stayed reasonably dry compared to my old jacket in which I soon had a soaking wet back. Not really cold during exercise. Fit is also fine for my size (2m/97kg). Nice details like anti-slip at the bottom edge to prevent jacket from creeping up, but also the double sleeve opening with notch: tight inner layer goes into the glove, outer layer goes easily over the glove.

Top of the range!
It's top-of-the-range, which comes at a price, but it's great. Lightweight, very warm (even too warm above 10-12 degrees), windproof, great fit, good stretch, in short a little gem! It's also rain-resistant!

Ideal winter cycling jacket
Only just owned, but it is a warmer version of the Perfetto RoS that I have been using for a long time. The Gore-tex Infinium Windstopper material used is really ideal for a cycling jacket. Windproof, breathable and also reasonably water repellent (keeps you dry for a surprisingly long time despite not being a waterproof membrane). The Alpha RoS 2 is the warmer version. Bought it myself for the colder days and based on experience with the Perfetto, I expect it to be usable from 7/8 degrees to ~0 (obviously depending on sun/wind). Finish of the jacket is very nice as is the fit. Fits well without being uncomfortable. I personally opted for an XL (186 / ~84kg). Two minor downsides are the zips. The zip for the "vest" on the inside has a somewhat small hook and is difficult to open with gloves on. Second point, the zip on the outside cannot be unzipped from the bottom. Incidentally much less important for the Alpha due to the colder conditions for which the jacket is suited, but miss it sometimes with the Perfetto. Neither insurmountable but good to take into account. By the way, if you are in doubt between this jacket and the Perfetto, I would go for the latter. If you wear enough layers underneath it, you can wear it to quite wintery temperatures too. But if, like me, you prefer cycling with fewer layers, this jacket is definitely a (warmer) addition to your wardrobe.

Super jacket for very cold days.
Top cycling jacket for cold conditions (0°C and colder). Even (quiet) running possible without being completely wet in sweat.

jacket meets product info
excellent cycling jacket, i use it for skating. i notice that the inner jacket is tight in the armpits. (because I skate with my hands on my back) takes some getting used to but it's doable. grtz

Disappointing!
I imagined more from this jacket. Thought it ventilated well but I am soaking wet with sweat after about ten kilometres. So it's a bit of an expensive mis-buy.
