Pros
-
The low weight of only 1671 grams in combination with the 45mm deep rim makes the Scope S4 wheels a very good all-round wheelset.
The pre-mounted tubeless rim tape makes the wheels tubeless in a flash, increasing comfort, lowering rolling resistance and increasing puncture resistance.
Thanks to the high lateral stiffness, every kick is a hit. As a result, there is little energy loss during a long climb or sprint.
An extended warranty period of 3 years and a lifetime crash replacement programme give you a lot of security with Scope!
Scope wheels are developed in the Netherlands in cooperation with Schwalbe, SKF, TU Eindhoven and TU Delft, so high quality is guaranteed.
The high lateral stiffness and the 55 mm aerodynamic rims make the S5 ideal for high-speed riding on flat terrain.
Thanks to the pre-installed tubeless rim tape, making the wheels tubeless is an easy job. Tubeless riding increases comfort and puncture resistance, and decreases rolling resistance.
With Scope wheels, you get a lot of security: an extended warranty period of 3 years and a lifetime crash replacement programme!
Scope wheels are developed in the Netherlands in collaboration with Schwalbe, SKF and the Universities of Technology at Eindhoven and Delft, so their high quality is guaranteed.
These wheels are constructed from 50 mm high UD carbon rims and weigh only 1470 grams!
Compared to other popular wheel brands, Newman performs tremendously well when it comes to aero testing in the wind tunnel.
The 23 mm inner rim width is suitable for 25 - 35 mm tubeless and folding tyres.
The Advanced A.50 wheels are suitable for road, gravel and cyclocross use.
These wheels excel in terms of high wind resistance in crosswinds.
Cons
-
No wheel bags or brake discs are included when buying a wheelset.
The Scope S5 wheels do not come with wheel bags.
Tyres narrower than 30 mm are less aerodynamic on these rims.
