Pros
This tyre combination is an all-rounder for dry to wet conditions on forest terrain and wooded or rocky descends.
Perfect Maxxis tyre combo for wet to dry forest surfaces.
Higher knobs for maximum grip with the Maxxis Forekaster on the front wheel, and low rolling resistance with the Maxxis Rekon Race on the rear wheel.
The combination of the EXO Protection technology and a tubeless setup prevents cuts and punctures resulting in a flat tyre.
These tyres can easily be made tubeless with 90 ml latex sealant per tyre thanks to Tubeless Ready technology.
The Racing Ray and Racing Ralph are the iconic duo for super fast cross-country riders.
On the front wheel, the Racing Ray provides excellent steering thanks to its aggressive tread profile.
On the rear wheel, the Racing Ralph provides sufficient traction and speed.
These tyres feature the brand new Super Ground carcass and are tubeless ready.
TLE (TubeLess Easy) technology makes the tyres easy to make tubeless with 60-120ml of latex sealant per tyre.
The Racing Ralph has a high-speed tread with nobs, making it the ideal rear tyre for cross-country trails, while the aggressive knob profile of the Racing Ray makes it ideal as a front tyre.
The Addix Speed rubber composition guarantees optimal speed and great durability.
These tyres have a classic look thanks to the transparant sides of the Super Race carcass!
The Super Race Carcass is extremely fast but does compromise on durability somewhat.
Absolute Downhill tyre or MTB front tyre with good cornering grip on soft, muddy and dry surfaces.
With an Exo Protection layer for extra protection against damage from sharp objects.
The MaxxTerra interlayer is softer and provides more traction and less rolling resistance than other compounds.

Cons
You'll generally have to top off your liquid latex every 3-6 months when riding tubeless.
These tyres are less suitable for very wet or muddy conditions.
The Racing Ray and Racing Ralph are both less suitable for highly muddy terrains, due to the limited space between the knobs.
This tyre is not suitable for Trail and XC use.
Maxxis recommends that Maxxis Minion DHF WT 2.50 inch tyres should only be mounted on rims with an internal rim width between 30 and 35mm.
