This rechargeable Trek Flare RT isn't just 36% smaller and 30% more powerful, it also has clever connectivity functionality. You can easily pair it with your Garmin, Trek or Bontrager ANT+ device, and then use it to control your daytime running lights and to check your battery status.
You'll always be clearly visible with its 2 kilometre range, automatic brightness adjustments and extra 30 minutes of battery life at low battery levels. Plus, charging is easy in all weathers thanks to the waterproof USB port.

The brand new Bontrager Flare RT is 36% smaller, 30% more powerful and has 20% longer battery life than its predecessor. In addition, the Flare RT, unlike the Flare R, can also be connected to your Garmin and Bontrager ANT+ devices. This makes it easy for you to switch on the daytime running lights or check the battery status.
The Bontrager Flare RT is ideal for use in an urban environment or during the day. Due to its specific brightness, light pattern and range, you are visible from a distance of up to 2 kilometres during the day. The integrated light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness to the ambient conditions.
Thanks to its battery safety mode, the Flare RT has an additional battery time of 30 minutes when it hits 5 percent battery capacity. As a result, you'll never be without lights when you're on the move. At a continuous 25 lumens, the battery will last approximately 4-5 hours. At a capacity of 5 lumens, this transforms into 13.5 hours. The flashing mode has a maximum capacity of 90 lumens. In this mode, the battery will last approximately 6 hours. With the USB cable, the light is easy to charge. The USB port is waterproofed for ease of use as well. So you can ride in wet conditions without worries.

The first rides are done and so far I am very satisfied. Good illumination and uncomplicated installation. I have not yet fully utilised the battery power to give a rating here. After 2 hours with the highest lumen level, the battery lamp shows red, but works perfectly.
