With the Sram GX Eagle 12 speed you'll have the most vital components to fully prepare your mountain bike for the coming cycling season.
The Sram GX Eagle cassette has a reach of a whopping 500% and is equipped with the latest technologies. The XG-1275 cassette has a tooth reach of 10 to 15 teeth. This provides speed on level surfaces, while also enabling you to climb mountains.
The sequence is 12t, 12t, 14t, 16t, 18t, 21t, 24t, 28t, 32t, 36t, 42t, 50t, kept together with small pins. This Full Pin technology results in a lightweight and durable cassette. The open X-Dome design allows for mud and dirt to be dealt with swiftly. This improves shifting as well as durability.
The 12 speed cassette fits existing XD drivers. This means the distance between the sprockets has been reduced, making the chain narrower as well. X-Glide 2 is the latest generation of Sram X-Glide technology, optimised for the Eagle 12 speed cassette. It provides fast and accurate shifting under pressure for the entire gear reach and increases the grip of the chain on larger sprockets.
The Sram GX Eagle chain was designed in the line of the Eagle technology. The Sram GX Eagle has a solid pin construction, as opposed to the XX1 and X01 chain. While this makes the chain more affordable, it's also a bit heavier.
The chain is equipped with an Eagle Powerlock closing link with Flow Link technology. This results in a better chain motion and longer lifespan. This is one of Sram's quietest, strongest, and most wear-resistant chains and has an excellent price/quality ratio. The Eagle technology results in a reach of 500%, which is 20% larger than other 1x drivetrains.
