Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- This saddle radiates pure speed!
- The minimal padding and the large height difference help you to transfer your power even better.
- This saddle has a narrow front and mid-section to give your legs plenty of room to move.
- As your seat bones rest on the raised rear section, you remain better seated when exerting force on the pedals.
- This saddle is most efficient when you cycle in an aerodynamic position, and is therefore not suitable for less agile cyclists.
- Please note: Recommended for riders up to 75 kg. Maximum weight: 90 kg.

The Ergowave design of the SQlab saddles looks a bit like a wave. The raised back of the saddle provides a lot of support and optimal pressure distribution when cycling. This in turn leads to a more comfortable ride and better power transfer. The front of the saddle is lower, so the front of your body does not touch the saddle. Combined with the notch in the middle of the saddle, this shape ensures that you will not get pain in your sensitive areas, even when cycling in an aerodynamic position!
Weight and flex optimised saddle shell
The saddle shell of the SQlab 612 is made of a super lightweight polymer, making it weigh just 165g. The shell is reinforced lengthwise and made more flexible widthwise. This makes it possible to sit on your bike relatively comfortably, despite the minimal padding!

Good quality and top saddle, as long as it fits!
Very satisfied so far, even though the test phase is still ongoing. I like the weight, the firmness, the short and narrow saddle nose. I'm curious to see if it really proves itself over the next few weeks and suits me

Good but delicate
This is a comfortable saddle if you get the position exactly right and don't like to move around much. It is very minimal and racy. Unfortunately the one I received failed after 1500km, with both sides cracking off starting at the back edge (I am 80kg, so not over the weight limit). Mantel handled the warranty return *extremely* well though, thanks folks!

Very good saddle that absorbs road vibrations well. I don't regret my purchase.
It's been several years that I had problems in the right groin due to friction no doubt despite several models of saddles after much research I saw the saddles mantel I admit that at first I was septic I have well respected the table and the saddle that you suggested is perfect I did three outings with and I must admit that after the second outing I felt nothing more third outing done yesterday (75km) no more pain thank you mantel

Good support, but little freedom of movement
Initially, this saddle sat wonderfully for me (female, seat bone width 11 cm). Good support in the right place and the shape of the saddle automatically puts you in the right spot. After a while, the shape's lack of freedom of movement started to irritate me and there was friction at the spot where the saddle has a rise at the back. As a result, I returned the saddle anyway. If you always sit in one position, I think this is a very fine saddle. Because it is narrow, it does not cause friction in the groin, which I often suffer from with other saddles.

Super light sturdy saddle.
Since I bought a new racing bike, I have been having trouble with my saddle. Namely at the place of the seat bones. Already tested several saddles without any success. Then someone recommended the mantle website to me. You could find and test the ideal saddle using some choice questions. Says on the website 30 days testing not good money back. I thought this way I can take the risk again. Without immediately losing a lot of money if it is not good. The saddle was delivered the next day and tested immediately. First 5 minutes were a bit uncomfortable but the saddle was perfect immediately after that. After my first test ride I did 100km with it the next day. Not a single moment of pain. So happy I found the right saddle for me. I am going to buy the same saddle for my MTB. Very too satisfied. Also the blog distance measurement was very helpful to make the right choice.
