Shimano RC702 Road Cycling Shoes

Excellent and comfortable fit
Several features ensure that the Shimano RC702 has an excellent and comfortable fit. The upper of this cycling shoe is equipped with Shimano's Surround Wrapping: this means that the entire foot is wrapped in a seamless piece of leather, which creates a better fit with fewer gaps between the shoe and foot. The two separate BOA IP6 dials allow you to adjust the fit perfectly and to your liking. Together, they ensure that the entire foot remains firmly and securely in place. The BOA system is easy and responsible to use, even while cycling.

Fabric and mesh on the upper
The upper of the Shimano RC702 features supple synthetic leather and mesh. This material combination contributes significantly to the superior fit and high comfort level. The synthetic leather is perforated and, in combination with the mesh material used, these perforations ensure good breathability. The risk of overheated feet is therefore considerably reduced.

Carbon midsole for optimum power transfer
The Shimano RC702 has an extremely stiff full carbon midsole (stiffness index: 10), allowing you to deliver optimum power transfer to the pedals and better convert your efforts on the bike into speed. In addition, the carbon sole ventilates well and allows water to run off. The latter is particularly useful in wet and rainy conditions. This cycling shoe is also equipped with Shimano Dynalast: a superior shoe design with a decreased toe spring. This allows for smoother pedalling and more efficient power transfer to the pedals.

In order to help you, as best we can, to choose the right size shoe we have measured all the shoes ourselves. All that's left for you to do is measure your own foot length, and we'll tell you which shoe size per brand suits you best. Does your foot length in mm not appear on the relevant product's page? Then that particular shoe is not available in a size that suits your foot length.

You can easily measure your foot length using an A4 sheet of paper, placed on the floor against a wall. Stand with one foot on the piece of paper, with your heel against the wall. Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Measure both - the measurement of your longest foot is your foot length in mm's! Please note: some manufacturers have their own measuring system, and as a result what appears on the shoebox can deviate from what we have measured.
