The saddle features shock absorbers between the deck and the base of the saddle. These provide plenty of shock absorption and minimise vibrations. The extra padding provides a high level of comfort and prevents chafing and uncomfortable pressure. The saddle deck is made of Fibra-Tek. This material is lightweight, but also wear resistant and durable. The base (7mm diameter) is made of TI-316 steel. This type of steel is not only stainless, but also 25 percent stronger and 15 percent lighter than commonly used types of steel. This makes the Selle Italia DIVA Gel Superflow a comfortable, lightweight and durable saddle.

Top comfort saddle!
After 20 years with a Lady gel flow saddle, I switched to the diva... a bit forced by my beloved who was reluctant to put the old saddle back on my brand new bike! After a lot of hesitation, I opted for this saddle and I'm delighted! I feel like I've got the same saddle but it's more comfortable and looks better. In short, I don't know if it'll last 20 years either, but it's well on its way to doing so! No more excuses for keeping up with my husband, even on a ride of over 50 km, it's still comfortable, even on slightly uneven roads when my buttocks aren't used to that distance... My legs had a harder time of it!
