The Ritchey WCS C220 stem is not only easy to install, but also has an improved quality. The clamping around your handlebar is 220 degrees instead of 260 degrees like its predecessor the WCS C260. Thanks to the 40 degrees less a handlebar is easier to mount. The mounting bolts are placed in an angle on the handlebar so the handle bar "embraces" the stem. This ensures less likely damage to lightweight handlebars , without losing any strength or stiffness.
