Ubique G40C Disc Carbon

Mantel does it again with their house brand! For this price (cheaper than some more expensive alu wheels) really a fantastic set. Come with a good tubeless valve, and my Schwalbe tyres were very easy to fit tubeless on these: just with the floor pump - no compressor or CO2 cartridge needed! I always had some trepidation about switching to carbon wheels - at this price, this is a perfect set to give it a try. You can hear the wheels whoosh while riding, like other aero rims. Ridden 400km with it in the meantime and nothing to complain about! No idea how easy the maintenance on the hubs will be, and how long they will last without that rough feeling on the rollers. That remains to be seen, but in the meantime I am a satisfied buyer!

What a difference compared to the standard wheels on my Giant Revolt. I rode PRs on literally every gravel strip and was so much faster on asphalt too. A world of difference, especially with strong head/side winds.

I use these rims on a gravel bike with 40 mm tyres that fit very well on these rims with a width of 30 mm. I have tested these rims for 2 weeks now and they like them very much. The promotion to try out the rims for 30 days and that they can be returned with receipt of the full monetary amount gives a good feeling.

I am very happy with the wheelset. I ride the LR with 30mm Pirelli tyres. The "look" is great. The tyre is almost flush with the rim. I like that. The wheels just ride great and for a really great price. However, I have to say that this is my first carbon wheelset so I don't have any comparisons.

The G40C had to work hard right away, gravel and cyclocross. There's really nothing wrong with them. Of course, they are in the heavier category, but for me they are unbeatable value for money at the moment!

Good and nice wheelset. Rim height of 40 mm looks nice and is not too high. There was a DT Swiss G1800 wheelset in my gravel bike as standard. This is really a great upgrade. A lot stiffer and lighter. Runs nicely and smoothly. This wheelset is a lot tighter in corners and accelerating feels better. Very positive. Especially considering the price!

The first few kilometres of touring have shown that these are very good wheels - especially for this price. They run quietly and smoothly. A real upgrade - whether gravel or road bike

Fantastic wheels, even more expensive wheels are barely better.
