Very solid carrier, which gives a familiar and safe feeling.

After much orientation and a visit to the shop, we chose this Dutch quality product. The carrier is very solid and the bikes stand firmly on it and at a large distance from each other, so they are not damaged. The tyres feature a metal strip to prevent theft, and the bikes can be locked with the top attachment. The attachment is ideal to do on the seat post or upright tube, where the frame is most solid, due to the movable arms. This makes the carrier feel safe and secure. I compared the carrier with more expensive models from Thule, but these have one major drawback, and that is the lack of movable wheel fixings. This Spinder does have that. This way, you never have to lower your saddle every time to hit the handlebars of the bike next to it. This way, you have a lot of flexibility in placing the bikes on the carrier. All straps have a ratchet system, which prevents overtightening of your precious carbon bike parts. The only downside is that the lever to tension the carrier to the ball has some play, which does not make a solid impression. Possibly this is feel, but this has received more attention at Thule. However, if you set quality against price, in my opinion this is a very good purchase.
