Schwalbe Marathon Racer

Bought the widest size (40 mm) and it is clearly more comfortable than the narrowest variant and rolls very smoothly. Fitted them under my trekking bike for long tours with luggage. I know these tyres have less puncture protection but find the smooth ride more important. Perhaps replace them earlier to avoid problems. Many tyres have a statement that they are compatible with an ebike up to 25 km ph. That suggests it's not smart to cycle faster with them. I find that annoying because, for example, you soon reach speeds of over 50 km/h downhill. So are they not compatible with that?

I am using the bike to go to the work, but I like to ride faster. Previous owner set two different tires which were already worn. After replacing with these pair I opened new speed limits for myself. The speed drastically increased. One word about packaging: great I was surprised with the big box from delivery service, when I opened I realised that the tires are not bended they are placed as is in the big box. So no deformation from the start. Thank you for the service and fast delivery!

Not yet ridden a meter, but still a review ... Bought three of them, the tires are just like that, hardly had to use any force. Time will tell what the lifespan is, but I have had good experiences with Schwalbe for both city bike and ATB.

Great delivery at a nice price, but if the tyre is turned into an eight and folded in half, Mantel would save a huge amount of cardboard. Now a huge box arrives, while the tyres fit in a quarter box.

I had the same type of tyre on it for 3 years, but after those three years the tread did disappear. Cycled a lot per week to work (40 km per day). So longevity excellent as far as I am concerned!

This tyre has covered many kilometres under my Giant RS0 for over 5 years. One puncture was caused by riding over the edge of a milled-out stretch of asphalt with a tyre that was too soft. Always inflated to 4.5 -5 bar. Low rolling resistance. Bought my second set yesterday and delivered quickly (well within 24 hours).
