I have already used several tapes. This was the worst and only lasted 1-2 years. Removing the adhesive, which comes off the film and remains on the rim, is very time-consuming and takes a long time. The film cracked and became brittle after just a short period of use. As a result, the adhesive remains on the rim. The film kept tearing off and had to be peeled off piece by piece. Very poor quality. I used Milkit tape on the front wheel. This is the best there is. Easy to stick, very stable and easy to apply without bubbles. Still holds. Even when glued 2 times. Unfortunately, the Milkit is not available in 30 mm width. I therefore had to use a different one on the HR.

Twice tried to make my tyres tubeless with this tape but twice it leaks on the side of the tape. The tape just has too little adhesion so it always leaks at the start or curls up at the sides, even with enough tension.

This was the first time for me to make a wheel tubeless. On the first attempt with 1 layer of tape, it was not completely airtight and possibly a small problem at the valve. An extra layer of tape fixed this. Second wheel went well in one go with two layers. Also ordered valves from muc-off. Also highly recommended. If you make a small mistake and are not quite straight on the rim, the tape can simply be lifted a bit and you can try again.

Rim width and hookless. The number 1 topic. Unfortunately, manufacturers have somewhat missed the trend towards wider and smooth-edged rims (hookless). More gradation please. Every manufacturer is usually missing one size. It's simple. 30 32 34 36 38 I'm not familiar with anything below that.

Chose this Muc-Off rim tape because I always find the brand's products OK. For my 21mm internal rim (from inside rim hook to other inside rim hook) I hesitated between the 21mm and 25mm rim tape. Still opted for the 25mm to have some margin for the shape and true width of the inner wall (about 24mm). This was the right choice. The tape fits perfectly side to side on the rim bed. Installation of the rim tape went smoothly thanks to the good included instructions. You can also watch their video if you find that more convenient. Nice touch is that the rim tape has a nice distinct transparent pink colour. I'm sure someone will say something about it the next time I replace an inner tube! ;) It also comes with 4 stickers to provide a perfect seal where the tape overlaps. Whether the seal works well and the tubelessness of the rim tape does its job well I unfortunately cannot judge as I ride with tubes. The rim tape also comes in nice packaging. Only downside I could think of is that this rim tape (and other brands too, for that matter) is fairly pricey for some 'tape'.
