Worse than expected
I combined the chain with a Shimano XT cassette, but especially in the beginning I was not so satisfied with it. The chain makes more noise and shifting is not as smooth as I am used to with a Shimano chain. After a while, this does get better once the chain has been run in more.

Maybe just a bad experience - any comeback Mantel?
I have had this chain before and I can’t really fault it other than the fact it did not last very long. I bought a new one and it twisted and came off my chainring and was essentially useless thereafter. Therefore, it’s a pretty weak chain. That being said, if I didn’t have this issue I would buy it again. Maybe it was a manufacturing issue / once off etc.

Rigid thing and expensive too
After 4000 km I had renewed my drivetrain. Front and rear new sprockets. And I still had a new KMC X11 lying around. Too expensive to throw away. After a week I replaced it with a SRAM PC1130. The KMC is a stiff chain that can only lie straight. When the chain is at an angle (as it often is with a derailleur) you can feel every link creaking.
