The Wax Fixer 2 It’s definitely even better than its predecessor; the wax pot has got a bit bigger and is more than adequate for home use. It’s so simple that any beginner can manage it – just set it to ‘Perfect’, and once the wax has melted, put the chain in for 5 minutes and you’re done. It takes about 20–25 minutes for the wax to melt on the ‘Perfect’ setting, and it maintains a temperature of 82–90 degrees – I measured this myself using Prime Wax in the pot.

The appliance does its job. In my opinion, however, the disadvantage is the lack of a temperature display and the fact that there is no scale with temperatures on the switch. I also found that there is little space in the container for a chain. But for starters, the appliance is a good alternative to more expensive models from other manufacturers
