Rocket that is difficult to assemble

- Christian, 28 March, 2025

The tyre meets all my requirements. Looks good and rolls easily. I use it from March to November in 40mm on my gravel bike. In winter I want a bit more grip. Fitting takes a little longer and is not so much fun (no, it's not too small in diameter). Once it's in place, it works.

Best all-road tyre I know

- Johannes, 3 December, 2024

I use this tyre on my all-road bike where I cycle most of the time on the road, but don't want to be hampered if there is the occasional rougher trail on the route. Is really a fantastic fine tyre to ride on, the most comfortable tyre I know. It also has very low rolling resistance and is puncture-resistant. The only challenge is to get it on the rim the first time without effort. It's definitely doable, but requires proper technique. Be sure to watch Challenge's video with instructions on how best to tackle this. I would always ride it tubeless though, otherwise you will only get limited benefits mentioned and it might not be worth the money. Unfortunately, it keeps losing pressure, so it is necessary to check the pressure before every ride.

Pros & Cons

extremely comfortable
low rolling resistance
multifunctional
puncture-proof
less grip
loses pressure

Top tyre! Runs super smooth!

- Peter, 4 April, 2024

30 mm is actually 28 mm once fitted. Tyre requires some perseverance when mounting on the rim (getting hands over it), but certainly not insurmountable. Similar to a continental 5000 in terms of fitting, but not in terms of running. Superior without a doubt in terms of running. Once on it a 5* top tyre without a doubt. Challenge does not disappoint!

Pros & Cons

Looks nice
Low rolling resistance
Riding at lower pressure
Smooth
Top tyre

User-unfriendly tyre

- Marco, 15 March, 2024

Tyres are difficult to put on. Furthermore, the tyre loses a lot of air without a hole in it.

Pros & Cons

Looks nice
Drains quickly

A performance worthy of a 25 tyre, but with the added comfort.

- Cedric, 26 October, 2023

After an assembly that was much easier than what you can read in other comments, mounted in less than 10 minutes on DT Swiss wheels, the first sensations of rolling on my gravel (about 200km on the road) are almost equivalent to those of my road bike mounted in 25. The ideal choice for those who want to ride fast on the road while still being able to use gravel paths.

Fine and beautiful band with some challenges.

- Dimitri, 19 July, 2022

Fast tyre. Looks great on the bike. A challenge to fit tubeless. Getting the tyre on the rim was not difficult. Inflating did not work with an ordinary pump. You need a pump with a pressure chamber for that. At low tyre pressure, your handlebars want to go straight. So tyre pressure is tight.

Pros & Cons

Nice
Rolls smoothly
Setting up tubeless is challenging
Tyre pressure is tight

More beautiful than efficient

- Marie-Cécile, 5 February, 2022

2 tyres broken in two months. Expensive tyres but fragile and very difficult to fit. But do ride when not broken, fast.

Pros & Cons

Fragile tyres
Very difficult to mount
