Good material at the best price

I ride the Limus Pro in training and as a tubular tyre in races on muddy surfaces. I think the tread is sensationally good for a tyre in this price range. I have fitted the tyre at the rear so that it offers maximum traction and provides good grip in the corners at the front. I get along very well with these tyres on really muddy surfaces and also in snow. I can ride the Limus Pro folding tyre with 1.8 bar at 68 kg and haven't had a puncture yet. I have also ridden a few tyres from other manufacturers, but I would put the Limus and the BabyLimus at the top of the podium in my ranking.

It's impossible to fit this 700x33 tyre on cyclo cross wheels, it's impossible, I've never seen anything like it! And yet I've fitted some difficult tyres. Do you have a solution?

This is an ideal tyre for very wet and muddy surfaces that require deep grip. Impeccable grip even in bends!

Always used tubulars, tried these tyres, goodbye tubulars, no more bead-rolling problems

Nice cross tyre for mud, difficult to put on though. Best to use straps.

Sustainable product

Used in cyclocross, good grip on greasy surfaces.

Purchased as replacement, great tyre, but as cotton and handmade they need looking after, make sure they are cleaned and dried after use.

Only rode them once, mounting was difficult but they are good tires.

First of all be very patient and have a lot of time to put these tyres on wheels for the first time, they are super tight. Once it's done they do their job. Ride fast in the mud and on grass.

Ivause of its good properties in mud, fitted this tyre. The Baby Limus rear does not give enough grip in mud. Fitting gave no problems compared to other reviewers. Getting the tyre onto the rim was easy. Did use Schwalbe Easyfit (I don't know if that helped much, but it went smoothly anyway).

An earlier review stated that the editing was awkward. I thought that was an understatement. But all that mounting misery was worth it: what top tyres! Pockets of grip on soggy mud trails. Highly recommended. Even on asphalt nice and quiet tyres

Good looking tan wall tyres with good grip for the mud, did find rolling resistance was not great on a small road section. Only negative is they are a real pain to get on my Giant PX-2 rims, after 1hour of trying different ways to get on then snap they are on but left the thumbs in a bad way for a couple of days.

Perfect for mud, which does not stick. The wheel runs fast and you get great performance from the bike.

Superb grip compared to my previous tyre... give yourself plenty of time and patience to fit though.

Awesome supple and compliant mud tyre, run this with the proper latex inner tubes for the best performance. NOTE - out of the box these tyres are a tight fit, recommend fitting them to the wheel warm with an old heavy butyl inner tube, inflate to 65 PSI and leave overnight, this will stretch the tyre and help it's shape form on the rim. Next day you can swap out the butyl inner tube for a latex one without too much swearing!

Looks and performs great but a really tight fit on the rim and very difficult to get a tube in. Piched 2 tubes when first fitting.

Very good in thick, wet mud. Difficult to mount, takes a while and strong thumbs. Because of deep tread is a bit draggy in drier conditions

Excellent tyre for cycle cross. Real good grip specially in mucky conditions. Can not fault them in anyway.

Great tyre. Can run low pressures with great grip.

Been using Challenge Fango's which I rate highly, switched to the Limus due to a change in conditions 'rain and mud'. These are now my choice of tyre for UK CX. Brilliant grip and performance for any condition other than dry & firm. Run well at low pressure so its a good idea to capitalize on this & fit the Challenge latex inner tubes.
